About

I am a Finnish-American visual artist working in multiple media.

While I consider myself mostly self-taught as an artist, I have to acknowledge the positive impact my short studies at the National College of Art and Design (NCAD) in Dublin, Ireland, and the Liminka School of Art in Finland have had in my development.

My work could be considered autobiographical in a sense that the subject matter revolves around people, objects and places I have experienced. The starting point of all my art is the observation of reality, and I look for simplicity from the complexity around us.
